Ex Pupil Story: Tripti Gurung

Namaste!

I am Tripti Gurung, a former student of Shamrock School, Nepal. In 2008, I got an opportunity to be a part of the Shamrock family as a student. I completed my School Leaving Certificate level in 2014. I then studied PCL nursing and graduated from Fishtail Nursing Campus in 2017 with the highest marks in my class. I was also honored as the student of the year for scoring the highest marks in my class and on the basis of Discipline.  I was also rewarded with a scholarship for my third year.

I went through the nursing license examinations and became a registered nurse of Nepal. I started working as a staff nurse in one of the prestigious hospitals in Pokhara; Fishtail Hospital and Research Centre for one and a half years. Soon after, the opportunity to go to New Zealand for further studies in Nursing arose. I went to New Zealand in September 2019 to study Health Services management at Aspire2 International Hospitality and Healthcare College. I graduated from my studies in 2020.

Currently, I am working as a healthcare assistant in Somervale Retirement Village providing quality services to elderly people.

I am extremely grateful to Shamrock for providing all the opportunities for my personal and professional achievements.

I would like to thank everyone who has been supporting and helping Shamrock to provide quality education and fulfill the fundamental needs of the students. It would be my greatest pleasure to support Shamrock in the upcoming days.
